The Elks is proud to be one of the most prolific providers of scholarships in the country.

 

Francis Warner Scholarship Fund

This Telluride Elks Scholarship Program has been established to aid high school graduates in furthering their education.

Please read the application closely and fill out the application clearly. For the 2020 school year the Telluride Elks Lodge will award the following:

Three (3) $1,000.00 scholarships from the Francis Warner Memorial Scholarship Fund. One (1) $1,000.00 scholarship for a vocational/technical college.

Two (2) $500.00 scholarships from the Colorado Elks Association. Additionally the applicants must perform a minimum of one (1) hour of volunteer community service to the Telluride Elks Lodge prior to submission deadline and submit a 500-word essay on Charity.

The Elks National Foundation

Through The Elks National Foundation (ENF), three different types of scholarships are offered on a national basis:

1. Most Valuable Student (MVS) Scholarship Open to the public August 1st, the deadline is TBA. 500 Scholarships awarded from $4,000-$60,000.

2. Legacy Award $4,000 scholarship for children or grandchildren of current Elk members. Application opens September 1st.

3. Emergency Education Fund Grant for the children of deceased or disabled Elks members. One year grants up to $5,000. The application process runs from May 1 – October 31.
